Eric D. Hilmes, MPA, PA-C, earned his Master of Physician Assistant degree from Loma Linda University in California in 2008.
Upon graduation, Mr. Hilmes moved to Las Vegas to practice emergency medicine for several large hospitals. He then worked in urgent care and family medicine for over five years working with all ages with both acute and chronic care needs. Mr. Hilmes then worked for two services that practiced internal medicine to care for homebound and transitional patients. From there, Mr. Hilmes established himself in dermatology with a large group in Las Vegas where he worked for the last four and a half years.
Having received extensive training in dermatology, Mr. Hilmes is qualified to perform a comprehensive dermatological examination, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical treatment for a broad range of dermatological needs and for patients of all ages. He is experienced and skilled in performing procedures that include cryotherapy, shave biopsies, punch biopsies, excisions, and other dermatological surgeries. He has experience treating all types of skin cancer, hair loss, dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, eczema, HS, vitiligo, premalignant lesions, and other varying dermatology conditions.
Mr. Hilmes is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners.
