EVOSYAL to begin clinical trials.
Evolus, a division of ALPHAEON has put in a new neurotoxin called EVOSYAL for study with the FDA. This is a neurotoxin (like Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin that are currently available). However, this new neurotoxin has the potential to last longer, should its FDA trial prove its safety and efficacy. The clinical study is just beginning and will most likely take a few years to complete. However, a new, longer-lasting neurotoxin could be available in years to come!
